In 'The Killing Grounds (aka - Children of Wax) ' Brener plays the part of a head of the Neo –Nazi gang, which is rampant in the Turkish neighborhood in Berlin. The film's producer Menahem Golan invited her to play the part. She admitted that the part was a great challenge for her, since she is a Jew herself, and her grandmother went through the Holocaust. Her screen partner is Armand Assante, famous from 'The Mambo Kings', 'Gotti' and 'Striptease'. "It is very important for me to make this movie against Nazism and hatred"- Brener revealed the movie's message.
